Will Hardcore Gamers Enjoy the New Dashboard

I know when I first saw the new dashboard I was very unsure of the Avatars.  There is something un-Godly about little caricatures of us dancing about.  The more I have looked into what the dashboard is serving up, however, the more I am getting excited about the whole experience.  GamesRadar has released a Top 5 list of reasons why the dashboard will be loved by hardcore gamers.  After reading the article, I have to admit that I probably will love it and will use it more than the clunky blade version.

Just yesterday we announced the registration for the New Xbox Experience and today we have some more screenshots to share with you.  Hopefully for those of you who registered you’ll be lucky enough to be a part of the beta group, if not…well you can at least see the pictures we have for you here.

I’m kind of excited about the Netflix feature that’s going to be part of this new experience mainly because I’m lazy and don’t ever feel like mailing my envelopes back!

New Xbox 360 Dashboard

Now’s your chance to preview the New Xbox Experience and get a heads up on what the new dashboard is going to look like.  Major Nelson updated his blog earlier announcing the beta sign up, so what are you waiting for?

Head on over to Microsoft Connect to register for this event.  You never know you might just get lucky and get to preview the goods before the actual “live” date of Nov. 19.  If you don’t get picked don’t worry it isn’t the end of the world…it just means you aren’t as special as “The Game Gods“!
