Wednesday’s Arcade Release

This Wednesday on the Xbox Live Arcade will feature the game Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader.  Now I know you are going to put off buying Fallout 3 and Guitar Hero: World Tour so you can get yourself 1200 points to purchase this awesome title!   Not only can you answer questions for a computer rendered Jeff Foxworthy, but you can also use cheats like peeking at your partner’s paper.  My guess is they did not want to release something too awesome in the midst of these amazing games coming out!

To make the day better they are releasing a new Marble Blast Ultra bonus level with a new achievement!  Oh, that ain’t any better?

Microsoft, the Arcade SKU Sucks

Xbox 360 Arcade

I have to agree with the IGN top 10 list of reasons the Xbox 360 Arcade SKU sucks.  I mean, I could only imagine the face of some excited kid on Christmas only to open up his present to one of these.  It’s like buying a car, and then realizing it did not come with a way to see out the windshield, the seats were faux leather, and you got none of the accessories that you could have gotten if you paid 60 more dollars.

XBLA Releases Coming Soon

XLBA Releases Coming Soon

Microsoft’s GamerscoreBlog has posted the Xbox Live Arcade games they expect to release in the next several weeks. Almost all the games most everyone is quite aware of, especially the very addictive Puzzle Quest… and we all know the AI is a cheating fool! Anyhow, not sure on the order of release.

The expected games are:

    – Ecco the Dolphin
    - Hexic 2
    - War World
    - Geon: Emotions
    - Puzzle Quest
    - Space Giraffe
    - Streets of Rage 2
    - Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
