If you’re planning on buying Bioshock for your PC you might be purchasing more than just a beautiful looking video game.  Be prepared to shell out some extra bucks on upgrading your computer if it isn’t pretty new.

Take a look at the specs and decide for yourself.  It may be better and cheaper to run it on Xbox 360 as the PC requirements are pretty hefty:

Geek Out With a Wii Party Station

Posted in » Nintendo Wii

wii-party-station.jpg

Break out your chips, dip, and a couple of beers sodas for the ultimate Nintendo Wii geek out! What party would be complete without the new Wii Party Station accessory?  When I first saw this I really couldn’t help but laugh and thought it was a joke.  Guess again it’s not!

“Combining multiplayer conveniences with food and drink storage, the Party Station is one of the most unique Wii products, but also one of the most useful. Multiple LCD scoreboards allows gamers to keep track of multiplayer face-offs, while the Party Station’s built-in fan keeps hands cool during the most heated of tournaments. When it’s time to eat, the Party Station’s built-in snack and dip bowls keep the food coming, while drinks stay upright in four cup holders, including four supplied freezable cup sleeves to keep them chilled.”

This is coming straight from the makers of the Party Station, Nyko, in case you didn’t believe me.

First Look: Halo Wars at E3 2007

Those of you RTS & Halo fans out there are in for a treat when it comes to Halo Wars.  Besides from being another Halo installment, this game just looks bad ass, and I’m not even into the RTS genre very much.

The development team worked over 6 months out of the 2 years it took them to make the game working on the controls alone!  Hopefully Ensemble Studios got it right after paying that much attention to detail, if not then something is seriously wrong.

Halo Wars takes place 20 years before Halo: Combat Evolved comes into the picture.  I know you’re probably wondering if Master Chief was around or not back then, I know I am.  I can picture the Chief back in his teenage years picking up girls and taking them to the firing range to test out a prototype Assault Rifle.

A Couple Obsessed With Dungeons & Dragons Starves Babies

Posted in » Gaming News

Hey gamers, don’t do this: A couple was so obsessed with the Internet and video games that they left their babies starving and suffering of other health problems. They also pleaded guilty to child neglect. The children of Michael and Iana Straw, a boy age 22 months and a girl age 11 months, were severely malnourished and near death last month when doctors saw them after social workers took them to a hospital, authorities said. Both children are doing well and gaining weight in foster care, prosecutor Kelli Ann Viloria told the Reno Gazette-Journal.
