Gears of War has taken the gaming industry by storm and they are fixing to add another notch to their belt. Epic has revealed that Gears of War is currently in development for Mac OS X. This news from E3 comes shortly after also announcing that GoW is coming to PC as well.
No details have been set as to when this will be released, but be assured when we find out you’ll be the first to know!
First Look: Switchball

We’ve all played the games where you have to maneuver a ball through various objects and narrow paths in order to reach the end of the level. Well Switchball is really no different except for the stunning (as good as you can get for a game like this) graphics and great play control.
There are 6 levels in 5 different world adding up for a grand total of 30. We’re hearing that there will be support for up to 8 players, both co-op and competitive modes. Switchballis already available on the PC, but look for it hitting Xbox Arcade sometime in August.
First Look: Halo Wars at E3 2007

Those of you RTS & Halo fans out there are in for a treat when it comes to Halo Wars. Besides from being another Halo installment, this game just looks bad ass, and I’m not even into the RTS genre very much.
The development team worked over 6 months out of the 2 years it took them to make the game working on the controls alone! Hopefully Ensemble Studios got it right after paying that much attention to detail, if not then something is seriously wrong.
Halo Wars takes place 20 years before Halo: Combat Evolved comes into the picture. I know you’re probably wondering if Master Chief was around or not back then, I know I am. I can picture the Chief back in his teenage years picking up girls and taking them to the firing range to test out a prototype Assault Rifle.

For those of you PC owners that don’t have a 360, you can get in on the Gears of War action soon. That’s right Gears of Waris no longer going to be exclusive to the Xbox 360.
Not only to you get the game of the year, but you also get some added bonuses with the PC version. Expect to see five new levels, a new editor, and “some very big surprises.”
Oh yeah in case you care, Viva Pinata is also coming to PC. I almost forgot to mention that.

I must admit I wouldn’t mind getting one of these for myself someday. Then I could find a way to bind my 2 360’s together for twice the power!
Mass Effect coming to 360 in Late 2007

Peter Moore announced a November release date for BioWare’s Mass Effect, during Microsoft’s opening keynote at E3 2007. The 360-exclusive action RPG was prominently featured in Microsoft’s montage of upcoming game titles. Mass Effect was also shown at last year’s E3, garnering positive reactions from a multitude of sources. Oddly enough, it was loved by the masses…
Halo 3 Gets Mature Rating in The U.S.

As if we didn’t know already that Halo 3 would get an “M” rating from the ESRB board. What kind of lame-ass conclusion to one of the greatest series of games would it have been if Halo 3 would have gotten anything less than a mature rating? We’d see Master Chief sporting a battle rifle watergun which shoots out pink water. Thank goodness for “M” ratings I swear.
If you can’t handle a little fake video game blood after I snipe you in the head from halfway across the map, tell your mommy to take the game back and go buy Shrek 3 or something.
