Sony Pulls Two Games From The PlayStation Store

Sony has pulled an additional two PS1 titles from the PlayStation Store for what they have termed “technical problems.” Last week Sony yanked back Medievil because of a fatal game stopping bug. This time on the recall rack, Sony chose Crash Bandicoot 2 and Spyro 2.

Sony did not release any information on when the titles might be re-released, so your guess is as good as mine. However, they’re wanting to fix the issues and are looking to work the bugs but. A Sony rep said, “This investigation is highly technical and requires some time to work through.”

Anyone that has purchased these titles should be contacted by Sony in the next 10 days regarding the plan of attack. Of course, if you have already downloaded the titles, don’t worry, you will not have to pay for them again.

I don’t need to download them, I still have Spyro and Crash Bandicoot games on old fashioned PS1 discs.
