Gears of War Surpasses 2 Million Sales

Microsoft has announced that Gears of War has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide and over a million of those came from the United States.
“We’ve always held high hopes for Gears of War, but we never expected such an overwhelmingly positive response from critics and gamers all over the world,” said Michael Capps, president, Epic Games.
Gears of War also boosted Xbox Live subscription sales 50% making it the #1 Xbox Live title.
